Dressing Up for the Holidays

For those of you who are trying to decide who you will dress up as what to celebrate this holiday season, here is the list of what we have to help you along.

For some items there may be a 'pour delay', meaning:  we need to have several people on the list before we will make more of the item.   In other cases, we have one or two on the shelf and ready to go.  To find out the availability,  just ask and I will be happy to tell you.  'Custom Colored' indicates that the item is available in a variety of different colors;  often too many to list.

We are planning to do "The Doormouse" in Teenie Gem size as a 'fourth mask' to the "'Twas Brillig Slithy Toves" set.  This is the 'Alice in Wonderland' set of three masks which would be released this summer in June/July.  The set would be $105 plus shipping; insurance is required.  "The Doormouse" would not be included in the 'blind box' set, but would be priced separately.  You will be able to see the Doormouse when he is done.  We plan to price the Doormouse at a discount for 'Alice set of 3' buyers.

This is the Lace Mask which made its debut in Series One.  The Lace Mask is part of the "Arsnic and Old Lace" series of three masks.  The Lace Mask from Series One is currently being offered as a 'single'.

Donnie Darko

I like to hear input from everyone and most people know that and they do not hesitate to write.  The only way  to have wishes come true is if you tell me what you 'wish for'.  So, one person wrote me a note saying, "Your rabbit mask is not Donnie Darko enough."  Conversely, another person wrote to me and said, "Your rabbit mask scares me.  It is too Donnie Darko."

Neither the sculptor nor myself knew who "Donnie Darko" is.  We both had to look him up.  I still do not know if Donnie Darko is the rabbit or the guy, because I have not seen the film.  Our reaction was, "Wow. Who knew?"

The first wave of "too Donnie Darko/not Donnie Darko enough" rabbit masks will be shipping on Monday, May 2nd, 2011.  Invoices have gone out this weekend from 'Stine Sculpture'.
