Donnie Darko

I like to hear input from everyone and most people know that and they do not hesitate to write.  The only way  to have wishes come true is if you tell me what you 'wish for'.  So, one person wrote me a note saying, "Your rabbit mask is not Donnie Darko enough."  Conversely, another person wrote to me and said, "Your rabbit mask scares me.  It is too Donnie Darko."

Neither the sculptor nor myself knew who "Donnie Darko" is.  We both had to look him up.  I still do not know if Donnie Darko is the rabbit or the guy, because I have not seen the film.  Our reaction was, "Wow. Who knew?"

The first wave of "too Donnie Darko/not Donnie Darko enough" rabbit masks will be shipping on Monday, May 2nd, 2011.  Invoices have gone out this weekend from 'Stine Sculpture'.

I will be very excited to get my rabbits.  I look forward to all of your pictures of yours.  Thank you for sharing the rabbit love and for proving that rabbits multiply.

All I Want is You

Waiting for Divine to be out of the mold.  The rubber had to be replenished; waiting for the order to come in has set him back a little bit.
I think that we will still try to get his head to the Uncanny Dream articulated expo in Seattle at the end of May.   We will just have to see how it goes.  He is on the complicated side.  We prefer to see things done correctly rather than rapidly.  We have too many hours into him to 'rush' him.

Parasol

Simply Divine designer parasols are coming.
Yes, we do plan for Divine's eyes to be blue.

My Prince

We have been working hard to pair up some of my crowns with the masks to create a few "one off sets".  We may have them ready in the next week or two.
I will let you know when they are available and where they will be posted.
The etsy shop that this illustration is from can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/lunaclaydesign

Parasol Dance

Parasol dancing is Simply Divine.  Divine will be able to do this with his designer parasol and with all four of his  feet.
.

Steampunk Raven

The Steampunk Raven mask is being set up to be re-poured.  If you have missed getting one in "Series One", you now have a second chance.
The Steampunk Raven is $105 plus shipping.  Insurance is required.
Your color choices are:  Black with silver accents, Brown with silver accents, or White with silver accents.  If you have an odd yearning within you for some peculiar color, it does not hurt to ask.
This is Odette in the Steampunk Raven:

Divine Parasol

This image is from 1884.
Do not say that I never tell you anything.
Divine will have a parasol.  The parasol will be his ultimate weapon.  It will be a custom designer parasol created just for him.  I believe that you will be able to purchase other Divine Parasols from the designer, even though they may be very limited in quantity.
I also expect that you will be very excited when you find out "who" is doing Divine's Parasol.

Swiss Army Knife

The Swiss Army Knife is Divine.
.

.
One of us pointed out today, the rather glaring fact that Divine is actually just like a Swiss Army Knife. He will possess every part that one needs to build one's own dollie. He will have wonderful wings, hairy hooves, horny horns, weird weaponry, multiple legs, masks galore, and fancy clothes to go with his fancy face.

The Playing Cards

When your Rabbit mask(s) arrive you will have received a playing card.  You most probably will widen your eyes in surprise as this card is more odd than that of "Series One".    Most likely it is one of "hearts" as the hearts are my favorite suite.
The Divine game, such as it is, is "on".  What I wanted to tell you was this:  Do not lose any of your Simply Divine playing cards.  Given half a chance, we would like to see you use them in the future.
Thank you for your deep interesting.

All Rabbit Colors

We are now up to four rabbit colors.  All rabbit masks will be fuzzy.  The four colors to choose from are: white, brown, black, and sable.
.
Rabbit masks are Super Gem Dollshe Hound in size.  These masks are not "people size", they are "doll size". Photos on a doll are around on the blog here, somewhere.
.
The masks are acquired by the same procedure as the "Series One Masks".  Basically, what this means is: you send "your name, email, address, and paypal" information along with your "color choice and quantity" to cathyATcathycaraDOTcom .  You will be placed on the 'reservation list' and will have masks set aside for you. You will not receive an invoice requesting payment until your mask(s) are boxed on the shelf and ready to ship.
Each rabbit mask is $65 USD plus shipping.  Insurance is required. There are no refunds, no returns, and no exchanges.
Details on acquiring the masks are here: http://simplydivine99.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
.
Please note that the "white rabbit mask" is washed out in this photo.  Each of the rabbits is first hand flocked and then is airbrushed; variations will occur. Please do not order them if you expect "your mask" to be "exactly like someone else's mask".
.
We pack each mask very carefully and expect each to arrive in the same brand new condition that it left the factory.  Masks will be shipped directly from the factory.
.
Rabbit masks may begin shipping as early as the latter part of this week.
Thank you for your deep interesting.

Rabbit Out of a Hat

Happy Easter everyone!
The 'Alice Easter mask' is Simply Divine.  These are the photographs of it.  The model in the photographs is a Soom Io; the body is Soom Super Gem. The masks were created on a Dollshe Rosen.  They will fit a variety of SD size dolls.
The hair that you see is part of the Soom Io.  The eyes that you see are the Soom Io's eyes.  The mask is tied on with a sheer organza ribbon which is included. The mask is "fuzzy" ; it is resin and it has been 'flocked'.
The color choices are:

White
Golden Brown
Light Brown
Black

All rabbit masks will be fuzzy.
You will not see your mask before it is sent.

Masks are priced at $65 USD each plus shipping. Insurance is required.
Purchasers of 'Series One' masks may use their imaginary ten dollar coupon for this one, which would bring their price down to $55.
 ♥
You acquire the masks under the same terms as 'Series One' which is detailed here: http://simplydivine99.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Basically, this means that you send me an email telling me that you would like 'however many' of them and in this case 'what color'.  You will not be sent an invoice until they are ready to ship.
Happy Easter everyone !
Thank you for your deep interesting.
